Maryland Salesperson Pre-Licensing Class to start your career in real estate, you will need to take the required 60 hours class approved by Maryland Higher Education Commission and Maryland Real Estate Commission.
LEARN MOREAs a licensed real estate salesperson, you are required to take 15 hours of continuing education classes every two years. The required mandatory classes are offered throughout the year.
LEARN MORESalespersons who have an active real estate license in Maryland for the last three years and actively doing real estate on a full-time basis can take the 135-hour broker pre-licensing course.

Effective 10/1/2024 – The Maryland Real Estate Commission requires that licensees complete the 15 hours required before 30 days of license expiration. If not, you will have to pay a late fee of $168 before you can renew your license.
You will complete all the 15 hours required and your hours will be reported to the commission in less than 24 hours.
