Terms of Service
1. Enrollment & Agreement
By enrolling in any course at Reed Training Center, you agree to comply with all school policies, including attendance requirements, conduct expectations, and payment terms. Your completed enrollment form constitutes a binding enrollment agreement.
2. Job Placement & Salary
Reed Training Center acknowledges that job placement and job salaries cannot be guaranteed. Completing a pre-licensing course does not guarantee employment as a real estate agent or broker. Employment outcomes depend on passing the state licensing exam, finding a sponsoring broker, and individual performance in the marketplace.
3. Course Materials
All course materials, handouts, and content provided by Reed Training Center are proprietary and intended for personal educational use only. Materials may not be reproduced, distributed, or resold without written permission from Reed Training Center. Electronic course materials distributed digitally are non-refundable once access has been granted.
4. Payment
Full tuition is due prior to or on the first day of class unless an alternative payment arrangement has been approved in writing by the school. A 4% processing fee applies to all credit card payments.
Failure to complete payment may result in the student being withdrawn from the course. Reed Training Center reserves the right to withhold certificates of completion until all balances are paid in full.
5. Attendance & Conduct
Students are expected to maintain satisfactory attendance in accordance with Maryland Real Estate Commission (MREC) requirements. Excessive absences may result in the student being unable to receive a certificate of completion.
Reed Training Center reserves the right to dismiss any student whose conduct is disruptive, disrespectful, or otherwise incompatible with a professional learning environment. No refund will be issued in cases of dismissal for conduct.
6. Privacy
Personal information collected during enrollment — including name, contact details, Social Security Number, and Date of Birth — is collected solely for the purpose of fulfilling MREC reporting requirements and school administration. This information is stored securely and is not sold or shared with third parties except as required by Maryland law or regulatory bodies.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Any disputes arising from enrollment or participation in Reed Training Center courses shall be resolved under Maryland jurisdiction.
8. Changes to Policies
Reed Training Center reserves the right to update these policies at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued enrollment in any course after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policies.
