As a licensed real estate salesperson, you are required to take 15 hours of continuing education classes every two years.

The required mandatory classes are:

• 3 hours of Legislative Issues
• 3 hours of Maryland Ethics
• 3 hours of Brokerage Relationships and Disclosures
• 1.5 hours of Maryland Fair Housing

The other 4.5 hours can be in electives of your choice. The 15 hours of continuing education classes have to be taken before your license expires to have an active license.
